Subject: Best American guitar plyer... PERIOD
Excellent musicianship in a hard blues/ rock setting. One of SW Va's finest live bands.

Subject: New BuzzTones Singer
I am the bassist for The BuzzTones. We have a new singer. Her name is Kerri. I think that everyone will agree that she is perfect for this band. I will be posting more live shows to the music archive soon. But you can hear some new perfomances at our web site. (thebuzztones.com)in the meantime. We have lots of new material and are very excited about it. Rock and Roll!

The sound quality is great and the guitarist has decent chops -- but the vocals are disappointing -- if the guitarist is doing the singing (as I suspect, based on the scat), he ought to get a vocalist who can do justice to his playing.

Subject: Day of the Eagle Review
This is the first time I have been to this site and this was the first song I downloaded. If this is any indication of what can be expected, GREAT!

As a Robin Trower fan from way back, I can tell you after seeing/hearing him live for over 25 times, John Fogle, the guitar player in The Bass Tones, has got the "STUFF". There are some riffs in this track that even RT could not make in his day.

As for the other members of the band, they perform excellent work on this track and I look forward to more after this review.

A final comment, the vocals on this track is not James Dewar, nor Davey Pattison, nor do I expect it to be. However, having only listened to one track, if this area can be improved...BANG!!!

A four is selected ONLY for the Vocals everything else 5+....Enjoy and spread the word...
